Following the huge success of the first Citycrusher launched at
SED'92, the company has now added more models to the range.
The new model, the 10.07, is built around a proven Nordberg BP
impact crusher with a 1,000mm diameter rotor which is capable of
tackling rock, asphalt or reinforced concrete with sizes up to
500mm wide.
The exceptional ease with which the Citycrusher can be transported
is enhanced by its compact dimensions of just 2.4m wide by 6.85m
long, and it is well within the weight limit of a suitably equipped
road going 8X4 chassis. The unit, powered by an integral 110kVA
generator, weighs in at approximately 19t and offers outputs of
between 50 and 100t/hr.
The 10.07 is currently the largest and most powerful Citycrusher
and is designed specifically for recycling applications. The
machine incorporates a 2.8m long feeder with a grizzly section at
the end of the feeder to remove fines to minimise wear and increase
capacity. A vibrating pan feeder below the crusher is used to
absorb material shocks and prevent steel reinforcing bar puncturing
the discharge conveyor. A 500mm by 4.8m conveyor, which can be
fitted with an overband magnet for rebar removal, can also be
folded to allow the complete unit to remain within transport length
limits.
The crusher incorporates two breaker plates which are adjustable to
specific application or customer requirements. Optimum flexibility
is ensured by the option of three types of hammer which can be
quickly changed to suit a wide range of materials and feed rates.
