South Coast jobs for Wimpey

Wimpey has bagged two contracts worth a total of œ29 million for BAT in Southampton and the Defence Research Agency in Portsmouth. The œ18 million BAT contract is the 17,000m2 second phase of the redevelopment and expansion of BAT's manufacturing plant. Wimpey completed the œ21 million first phase last month.

The œ11 million DRA contract involves the design and construction of 14,000m2 of office and research facilities at Portsdown West. The job will take 89 weeks.
