Scott out in CIOB reshuffle
The financial director of the Chartered Institute of Building,
David Scott, has lost his job in a management reshuffle after five
years in the job.
An internal memo distributed throughout the CIOB this week by chief
executive Keith Banbury states that Scott, 56, is leaving to pursue
other interests. But Scott admitted to Contract Journal that he had
been sacked. 'You could put it that way,' he said. 'We have had
some disagreement.'
Scott would not elaborate on the reasons for his dismissal. The
CIOB's Julian Barlow said: 'David has left as a result of the
reshuffling We will now advertise for a new single post to replace
both David and our secretary, Frank Lettins, who is retiring.'
