Chelmsford prison tenders invited

The Home Office is inviting tenders for an œ11 million project at HM Prison Chelmsford in Essex. The work involves the construction of two accommodation blocks each housing 92 inmates, along with a sports hall, exercise area, fencing and landscaping. The job is expected to take 18 months.
