Costain set for Bournemouth court


Costain is tipped to win the D&B contract for a court complex in Bournemouth. The original cost estimate for the job is around œ11 million. The contractor will work up detailed designs from a final design sketch. Widnell Project Management is acting on behalf of the Lord Chancellor's Department.

Meanwhile Kyle Stewart, Laing and Higgs and Hill are fighting it out to win the two-stage design tender for the œ15-20 million Reading Assize Court. The work includes refurbishment of the existing 1861 grade 2 listed building and the construction of 8.800m2 of new courts.
