Rapid vibratory compaction by K150

Bolton-based M-B-W's latest addition is the K150 Power Screed. Weighing in at 9kg, the K150 provides rapid vibratory compaction of concrete floor slabs and light sub-base courses. Unit operation is controlled by an adjustable steering hand complete with speed regulator. Drive is transferred to the unit's blade via an eccentric drive operating at 10,000rpm to produce a centrifugal force of 160kg. The unit screeds a width of 1.5m in a single operation.
