Verachtert's rotary drum is a versatile attachment.
Developed to fit wheeled loaders and most backhoe loaders, the unit suits a wide range of applications.
These include earthmoving, demolition, scrap processing and recycling.
When sorting materials, all the operator needs to do is to drive the drum into the pile and load as normal.
Once this is done the drum's flaps are closed using the machine's hydraulics and the trough rotated.
Materials fall through the bars or through a bolt on sieve - available in various sizes.
Features of the rotary drum include variable rotation speed, wear resistant cutting-edge and teeth, and a standard bar distance of 45mm (centre to centre).
Benefits are a reduction in dumping and transport costs, and low maintenance.
