Wimpey has seen off Kyle Stewart to win a œ7m design and construct office scheme at Argent Group's œ250m Brindleyplace development in Birmingham.



Tolent Construction's German arm has won a œ7.6m contract to build over 100 houses in Trebbin, near Berlin.



Tarmac has won a œ7m contract to build a 48-bed hospital in Bridport for Dorset Community NHS Trust.



Cape Durasteel has been awarded a œ6.2m contract by Drake & Scull for the design, supply and installation of the ductwork system for the Jubilee Line Extension.



Kyle Stewart has won a œ6m contract in London's Denmark Hill to refurbish King's College Hospital's accident and emergency department and build a new radiology unit for King's Healthcare NHS Trust.

Cleveland Structural Engineering, part of Trafalgar House, has secured a œ6m contract to fabricate, paint and erect 6,750 tonnes of steel for bridges on the M65 Blackburn bypass for main contractor Tarmac.



Tayside Regional Council's Water Services Department is seeking tenders for the design and construction of the œ9m Forfar wastewater treatment plant.



Rochdale Metropolitan Borough is seeking a contractor to carry out a œ6m contract to strengthen, repair, refurbish and reconstruct a series of six adjacent bridges over the River Roch.



Wiltshier has a œ4.4m contract to provide student accommodation in Drummond St, London for Universal Consolidation Group and has a œ3.5m project to restore parts of Enton Hall in Surrey and build new flats in the grounds.



Hall and Tawse has a œ4.1m contract to refurbish MoD barracks in Salisbury.



Simons Construction has won œ38 million worth of work in the last two months. The largest contract is for a project known as Pearsons Phase 2 in Nottingham, which is worth œ8.9m. It is building 13,800m2 of retail space at the St Marks shopping centre in Lincoln for œ7.2m and is constructing a new œ6.2m Safeway in Redditch. It also has two Renault dealer sites in London worth a total of œ5.3 million.
