Offers made for Watkins' jobs

The receiver of VAT Watkins says it has received acceptable offers from two builders for the majority of the company's contracts, including the œ8 million Mount Pleasant job. Contracts are in the process of being novated to Kier and to London-based Botes Building, and an announcement is due at the end of the week.
