Kent invites A299 bids

Kent County Council is calling for contractors to prequalify for the œ50 million A299 Thanet Way sections on the Whitstable to Herne Bay road. The 30- month job involves the construction of 12km of highway with earthworks, drainage, structural, pavement and bridge works.

Tenders are due out at the end of October.
