Vibroplant peaks at 10,000ft

Plant hirer Vibroplant hopes to raise œ5000 for Children in Need from its entry in the British Three Peaks Team Challenge.

The teams had to climb the three highest peaks in Britain - Ben Nevis, Scafell and Snowdon - within 24 hours.

The full tour involved a 600 mile trip and total ascent of 10,000ft, in what one team member described as 'atrocious weather, with visibility down to 100m'.

Two of the teams, each consisting of four walkers and two drivers, completed the climb with 35 minutes to spare. In jury pre vented the third team com pleting within the deadline.
