Beaver bridges the piling gap

Piling equipment hirer Beaver 84 has introduced a new range of
piling. BV Litepile is des cribed by md John Pullum as 'a cross
between a trench sheet and sheet pile'.
The four new additions to the BV range come in widths of 600 to 700mm and in thicknesses of 3.5 to 7mm.
'There is obviously a need for this type of pile because the initial response from contractors has been tremendous,' claimed Pullum. He expects the heaviest pile in the range - the BV 12, with a width of 600mm, a thickness of 5mm and a section modulus of 257m3/m - to be the most popular, and described it as the strongest pile of its type in the UK.
