Link-Belt links with Alatas

Link-Belt has appointed a new sole agent, Alatas, for the UK and
Northern Ireland.
The new agent will handle the complete LBS Link-Belt range of crawler, mobile, dockside and pedestal mounted cranes.
Link-Belt has been operating in the UK market for more than 10 years, operating through an agent in Aberdeen. While West Midlands-based Alatas has been looking to expand its operations.
'LBS Link-Belt already has an established market in the UK for crawler and offshore pedestal cranes, which we confidently expect will generate additional spares business throughout the year,' said Steve Whitfield, md of Alatas. 'We can now tackle work on dockside cranage, not only for LBS equipment but also for any other manufacturers.'
Alatas staff have been trained on all LBS products and offer a 24 call-out service all year.
