the M62 between junctions 24 and 25 in Yorkshire and overlay a
further 3km in flexible materials.
A œ5m aquarium, designed by Sir Norman Foster, is to be built
at Brindleyplace in Birmingham. A planning application is to be
submitted shortly, with construction beginning next year. Ten town
house and 133 flats are also likely to be built at Brindleyplace by
Berkeley Homes.

distribution centre for Exel Logistics in Prudhoe,
Northumberland.
The Highways Agency is inviting tenders for an œ8.5m road and
bridge maintenance contract between junctions 5 and 6 of the M6 in

a new 6,150m2 police station with basement carparking and four
storeys of accommodation above ground level, in Northgate Avenue,

The Welsh Office is seeking tenders for the œ6m construction
of a grade separated junction and 1.6km of dual carriageway within
Deeside Industrial Park on the A550.
De Montfort University in Leicester is to build a 4,000m2,
four-story extension to its existing Kimberlin Library. Deadline
for receipt of applications to Purchasing Section, Finance Officer
at the university is 19 August.
Costain has been awarded a œ3.3m contract by Heathrow Airport
to reconstruct existing taxiways and the construction of a new one
on the eastern side of the airport.

Chester for Muir Housing Group.

demolish and replace Broadway Sheltered Housing's flats in
Wolverhampton.
