Aquaflex, a retroflective road marking system recently used in South Yorkshire on the A628(T) trunk road, is helping maintain the road's definition in the wet, claims RS Clare. The system's success is linked to larger glass beads which serve to increase wet-road reflectivity over conventional markings. Other benefits include improved skid resistance and dry night visibility.
