East Enders fans will be pleased to know that backbites can exclusively reveal the whereabouts of gloomy cockney car salesman Frank Butcher.

Frank - alias gloomy cockney actor Mike Reid - has been missing from the series for months. He did a runner from police after setting fire to his car lot in an insurance scam that went badly wrong.

But now Frank - or rather Mike - has turned up in a video for contractors.

To be launched next month by Westminster City Council, it is aimed at helping contractors succeed in the council's considerate contractors scheme.
