Amec unveil drugs job

Amec Design and Management has unveiled the design of SmithKline Beecham's œ80 million pharmaceutical research building in Harlow (above).

Work on the building will begin in September under the guidance of management contractor LMK, a Laing Management and Morrison Knudsen joint venture. Earthwork and piling tenders are out. The curtain walling package is about to go out.
