Tilbury Douglas lifts heavyweight job

Tilbury Douglas used a 500t Demag AC 1600 crane to lift eight 67t steel beams into place last weekend as part of construction of the main flyover over the Stonebridge roundabout and River Blythe in the Midlands. The work forms part of an œ8.4 million design and construct scheme for a new dual carriageway between the M42/ A45 junction and Stonebridge roundabout between Birmingham and Coventry.
