The Redrow Group has appointed Jeremy Dawson as its new finance
director. He is currently a non-executive director of Redrow and MD
of Rothschild Ventures. Current deputy chief executive and finance
director, Paul Pedley, will become group managing director.
Retiring chief executive of the National House Building Council,
Basil Bean, has been appointed a non-executive director of Admiral
Homes. He was previously chief executive of the Merseyside
Development Corporation and general manager of the Northampton
Development Corporation.
Wates Construction has appointed Jeff Adams as regional manager for
the Midlands. Meanwhile, Wates Construction's newly formed
division, Wates Interiors, has appointed Roger Poulton as its
commercial manager and Steven Turner as marketing manager.
At Durkan Bros Graham Green has been appointed to the new position
of project manager with special responsibility for design and build
contracts. He has 14 years experience as a chartered QS with Dearle
and Henderson and VJ Mendoza and Partners.
South West builders Stansell have appointed two new directors,
Harry Price and Tony Megit, from within the company. Price has been
the company's chief contracts manager, while Megit joined as chief
surveyor.
Vibroplant has appointed Ronald Hewitt to the main board as its
chief operating officer. He is joining the company from RAC where
he has been operations director since 1989.
Consulting engineer Contest Melbourne Weeks has made three
appointments.
Ian Thompson rejoins the company and will be responsible for
management of civil and geotechnical projects in the Midlands.
Martyn Gallimore has been appointed principal structural engineer
and Kent Mexter is joining as an associate in environmental
engineering.
