GEC to supply nuclear plant

GEC Alsthom has signed an agreement that could be worth up to œ350 million with the China Guangdong Nuclear Power Holding Company.

The project involves supplying the conventional island for a new nuclear power plant at Lingao in the Guangdong Province. The plant will consist of two 1,000MW turbine generators.
