Liverpool sparkies to be tried over death of foreman
Two Liverpool electricians accused of the manslaughter of a
building site foreman on a Cruden Construction site were this week
committed for trial at Liverpool Crown Court.
David Hallmark, 38, and Clifford Grace, 45, are accused of
unlawfully killing 27-year-old site foreman David McDonnell.
McDonnell was electrocuted on the Toxteth housing site on 21 April
last year.
Cruden and electrical subcontractor Cynaumar also face alleged
breaches of safety regulations, as do Hallmark, Grace and Cynaumar
managing director Harold Fogg, over the death. This will be dealt
with at a separate hearing.
