Heartwarming news from Wimpey Homes, the animal friendly contractor with the cute cat logo. Apparently, according to the house builder, badgers fare better under the protective custody of Wimpey homes than they do in the wild.

The firm has gone to great lengths to protect the badger population on a housing site in Wells. The entire development has been designed around the badger sett with their corridors made secure and a tunnel built under a main road to give them access. Work even stopped on the site during the breeding period. Mr and Mrs Badger would like to express their thanks.
