Revised bids in for UK private prisons

The revised bids came in this week for the UK's first two privately financed prisons.

The first round of bids for the œ100 million design, build and operate contract to build Fazakerley and Bridgend prisons was thrown out because they failed to meet the Government's expectations on risk allocation. The successful bidder will be named in May.
