Bovis profits up in 1994 says P&O

Profits at Bovis Construction and Bovis Homes both increased in 1994 according to the latest figures from parent company P&O.

Bovis Homes made an operating profit of œ13.2 million up from œ11.2 million, while Bovis Construction's profits rose to œ11 million from œ10.2 million.

Group chairman Lord Sterling said Bovis Construction worked during the year in a depressed construction market but benefited from increased penetration in the market and greater efficiency.
