Rhino Lift is heavy duty

Upright International claims its new range of heavy duty personnel lifts - Rhino Lifts - are a cheaper alternative to its existing range of portable lifts.

All three models in the range, which offer working heights of: 6.5m, 7.8m and 9.2m, have a lift capacity of 136kg - suitable for one person plus tools.

The all-steel unit is said to offer a high level of platform stability, features large diameter centrally mounted wheels - a plus, the company claims, when it comes to moving over obstructions such as door thresholds.

In the upright position, the Rhino Lift passes through a standard single doorway.

An optional 'laser locator' ensures correct positioning, and interlocks prevent the operation of the push button lift controls until the machine is properly set up.
