Errut updates the 900 boring system

Derbyshire-based Errut Products has introduced an HT version of its Roadent 900 thrust boring system designed to take services under roads.

Requiring an opening of only 900x600mm, the system not only reduces disruption to road users and pedestrians, but also lays pipes or cables of up to 150mm diameter.

The HT version offers a remote control station which, besides operating the thrust and pull-back motions, also operates the load and unload rotation motion for insertion or removal of the 220mm long thrust rods. In the standard machine, rotation is carried out manually with a spanner.
