Typical, the Brits are stoned again
Ooh la la. Ou sont les stonemasons when you need them?
Our old friends at Farmington Stone, having spent last year
fighting for the right to call their product Bath stone - although
they are based in Cheltenham - found themselves with a new headache
on their hands.
With orders booming they needed to recruit new stonemasons and
couldn't find enough in the area.
Well, it seems that this traditional English skill is now to be
carried out by the French who are being shipped over to
Gloucestershire, trained in the language and set to work for three
years.
What next, French cricket players? French Beefeaters at the Tower
of London...?
