Vermeer's T-755 trencher - the company's latest innovative arrival
- is a tracked trencher with a difference.
Unlike other models, this unit features Vermeer's new TEC 2000
trencher electronic control system.
The patent-pending system, essentially a microprocessor-based
device, integrates standalone components into fewer, simpler
controls.
As such, the T-755, designed for trenching cross-country, digging
in rock or for utility and drainage projects on roadways, is much
easier to use - fewer demands are placed on the operator.
As well as automatically adjusting the trencher to varying
conditions, TEC 2000 monitors each trenching operation and displays
essential data for the user on an LCD monitor.
A further benefit of the system, says Vermeer, is that it logs
machine-system conditions to assist service and maintenance.
Other features which Vermeer claims set this machine apart from its
competitors include a rollover protective cab structure and an
optional rollover protective open-air platform.
As well as a cab which can be raised 1m to improve visibility, the
T-755 offers automatic tilt tracks with an exclusive auto-tilt
valve, dual-track drive with full counter-rotation, and 3.7m
folding or 2.4m curved conveyor options.
