Salt & hot box for EuroTrakker

Econ Engineering claims it is the first UK company to body up the Iveco EuroTrakker, with a quick change body system offering the choice of a 9m3 salt spreader or 6m3 hot box.

Equipped with Econ's system, the EuroTrakker has already found a buyer. Borders Regional Council - responsible for 1,891 miles of road - has recently added the unit to its fleet.

Commenting on the Council's latest purchase, transport manager, Ronnie Linton said: 'In this day and age when budgets are very tight, we are looking for vehicles, machines and systems that are multi-purpose and can operate 12 months of the year and not be laid up for months on end.'
