Henry Boot wins œ23m in new contracts
The pick of œ23 million worth of new contracts won by Henry
Boot include a new learning centre at Sheffield Hallam University
and a new office development in Glasgow.
The œ10.2 million design and build contract for the learning
centre was won on the back of an earlier enabling works contract.
The seven-storey building is being built in Sheffield city centre
and is scheduled for completion in 70 weeks time.
Lomond House, the œ8.4 million Glasgow office scheme is being
built for the Co-operative Insurance Society in George Street. The
104 week project includes demolition of an existing building and
the construction of a six-storey office building behind the
retained facade with underground parking facilities.
