New Atlas Copco Berema crushers

Two new product ranges of crushers and pulverisers have been launched by Atlas Copco Berema AB. The HCC (Hydraulic Copco Crusher) range goes up to a jaw opening of 1290mm and can develop crushing pressures of up to 178tonnes. Noise levels below 70 decibels mean city centre working is perfectly possible.

The HCP (Hydraulic Copco Pulveriser) is designed to pulverise the concrete and take out the rebar. The built-in shears can cut the rebar into manageable lengths and the jaws can crush the concrete into very small re-usable fragments.

Both units have twin double-acting cylinders and fully rotating positioning mechanisms to enable working at any angle of attack. Atlas Copco says the power to weight ratio is high to give high working rates and shorter cycle times.
