No lubricant needed with Lamell

CSR Humes' Lamell jointing system is now supplied as standard on all its reinforced concrete pipes from 450mm to 1200mm diameter and from 1800mm to 2400mm. The Lamell joint is a rubber gasket with lubricant contained within a sealed mantle. This is said to eliminate the need for any lubricant to be applied to pipe joint faces on site, a fact claimed to save time for operatives and make joints easier to complete during wet conditions.
