New bulk flowing screed

Gyproc Floor Screed, a new bulk flowing screed from British Gypsum, has recently been used at an office development in South Yorkshire.

The product, which the company claims can be laid faster than traditional sand/cement screeds and with a minimum number of joints, has been installed in a 600m2 office building at Redbrook Business Park in Barnsley for main contractor Havercroft Construction.

As well as not being prone to cracking or curling, the product is also claimed to resist shrinkage.
