Tighten your grip with M-B-W power screed

Bolton-based M-B-W (UK) has tightened its grip on the concrete finishing sector with the introduction of its new K150 power screed.

Developed to provide rapid vibratory compaction of concrete floor slabs and light sub-base courses, said to be inaccessible to traditional equipment, the K150 weighs in at just 9kg and is capable of screeding a working width of 1.5m in a single operation.

The unit is offered with a choice of drives - a two stroke petrol engine developing 0.44kW, a 110V single phase electric motor, or an air driver. Regardless of power source, the drive is transferred to the unit's blade via an eccentric drive operating at 10,000rpm to produce a centrifugal force of 160kg.
