Morrison choosesIngersoll-Rand
Bedfordshire-based Morrison Plant Southern has taken delivery of 20
portable compressors and 20 pavement breakers from Ingersoll-Rand.
The units - ordered on behalf of its sister company Morrison Biggs
Wall - are needed for a wide range of utility and cable TV
contracts.
The P110WDG portable compressors feature an integrated 4kVA
generator to meet the power needs of fusion welding - a common task
in the utility sector. Power and air needs are met simultaneously.
The P110WDG generates 110cfm of compressed air and also produces
4kVA of power.
The recently acquired PB60ASF vibration-reduced pavement breakers
limit operator exposure to vibration, in working and pullback
modes, claims I-R. Morrison Plant's purchase extends its existing
fleet of compressors to more than 70.
