Pay settlement terms

Basic rates of pay for a 39 hour week on and from 26 June, 1995, are:

Craftsmen - œ173.55 weekly minimum (œ4.45 per hour).

Labourer/gen op - œ143.52 weekly minimum (œ3.68 per hour).

Woodwork shops: a weekly craft min. of œ168.48 (œ4.32 per hour) applies.

London and Liverpool: the 0.5p per hour differential is scrapped.

Benefit Stamps: frozen at present value.

Sick pay: frozen at œ60.50 per week.

Lodging allowance: up 4.4% to œ18.16.

Plus rates: generally increased pro rata with 6.2% craft rise.

Apprentices: rates up by 3.1%. Unions seeking further talks.
