Ucatt council trio found guilty
Three former members of the full-time executive council of Ucatt
have been found guilty of charges of improper conduct of union
affairs.
In a postal ballot of the membership, they have been convicted by a
majority of nearly nine to one.
The three - John Flavin, Charlie Kelly, and Peter Lenehan - were
suspended earlier this year. The full-time executive has since been
replaced by a lay body.
The verdict means the three are sacked without any redundancy
payments.
