Shaftesbury Ave shortlist due

Six contractors are due to be shortlisted within the next two weeks to carry out the redevelopment of 151-165 Shaftesbury Avenue in London for Jarrah properties. The existing building, Dial House, is to be demolished and replaced with a new 5,161m2 development, designed by The Devereux Partnership. The contract is thought to be worth between œ7-10 million.

Tenders will be invited in August for the building, which will have a steel frame structure with a "slim floor" construction.
