Stadium in a spin

Bournemouth AFC has won planning permission for its proposed œ7 million stadium. The 12,000 capacity, all-seater stadium will be built at Dean Court in Bournemouth, but turned 90 degrees on the exiting site. A pub, restaurant, conference hall, sports hall and fast food drive-through will also be built. It is hoped that building work will start in January 1997.
