Farwell buys JCBs

Mark Farwell Plant Hire has invested œ350,000 in the latest equipment from JCB.

The Dorset based plant hire company completed its purchase of 10 JCB Sitemaster Turbo backhoe loaders plus one JCB JS 130 tracked elevator last week. The plant was purchased from Holt JCB at Blandford Forum.

Mark Farwell told CJ: "Our machines are involved in earthmoving, site clearing and building projects throughout the county. We have short and long term contracts for customers in the construction and agricultural industries, plus work for the authorities. The aim of our company is to provide the best equipment with trained operators ."

The JCB Sitemaster Turbo offers a 90hp (67kw) turbo charge engine, loader and excavator capacity, and an ergonomically designed cab for operator comfort.

The JCB JS 130, a crawler excavator, offers its user an Isuzu engine and hydraulic control system, claimed to be among the most advanced in the world.
