Water contract
Taylor Woodrow Construction has been awarded an œ18 million
contract by Thames Water Utilities for the provision of a main
ozonation facilities at Hampton Water Treatment Works in Middlesex.
Completion of the facility is due in November 1998. The project is
the first phase of a long-term redevelopment of the water treatment
works.
The works consist of the design and construction of civil
engineering works including interconnecting tunnels, shafts, the
main ozone contactor tank and annexed building and chambers.
Additional work comprises the construction of a pumping station,
generator building, control system and other infrastructure works.
