Taywood denies M&E pull-out

A Taylor Woodrow spokesman this week denied rumours that the company was set to pull out of the M&E sector.

Redundancies have been identified at Taywood's southern mechanical and electrical engineering operation as a result of a merger with its process engineering subsidiary, Taymel.

A restructure also sees Taymech's northern office become part of Birtley Engineering. "We will do what we can to find jobs elsewhere in the group for those affected by the redundancies," said the spokesman.
