Kvaerner Davy has signed a contract with Hadeed for a œ100 million direct reduction plant at Al-Jubail in Saudi Arabia. The contract is for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of a 1.1 million tonnes per annum direct reduction plant using the HYL III process technology. The fast track project is due for completion in the third quarter of 1998.
