RAF base to be revitalised

Developer Country & Metropolitan Group is planning to
revitalise the former RAF base at Little Rissington,
Gloucestershire after acquiring the 68ha site from the MoD.
The base currently comprises 250 dwellings, various RAF buildings and four large hangers.
A master plan is being produced which envisages 88 new homes, subject to planning permission.
The Bradford Property Trust will buy 212 of the existing houses, which will be refurbished and then either sold or put up for rent.
The remaining 37 houses will be demolished. The hang-ars, administration and maintenance blocks will be refurbished and let for commercial use.
