Kvaerner Trafalgar House is tipped to clinch a œ9m contract from North Tyneside Council to build a sports and leisure centre at Smiths Park, North Shields, providing specification savings can be made to bring the scheme within budget.

Tilbury Douglas has been awarded two contracts worth œ5.7m by Severn Trent Water. The work involves a new treatment works at Itchen Bank -including pumping stations, storage tanks and pipelines - and a range of new work at the Hartshill Water Reclamation Works.
