Raine starts takeover talks

Housebuilder Raine said on Monday it was in talks with a third party which may lead to a takeover offer. The company said that an offer could be made at what it called a modest premium to its current share price. Raine said it did not expect the talks, if successful, to be concluded for "a number of weeks".
