Cardiff is home for new consultancy
A new consultancy called ChandlerM&E has been formed in Cardiff
to provide mechanical and electrical cost advice and control.
The service is being pitched at two market sectors. While the
construction industry will be the main focus, other clients will be
involved in industrial process plants - water, oil and gas in
particular.
The new company's five-strong team will offer services ranging from
feasibility studies through to project co-ordination and
management. They can be offered as independent M&E services or,
in conjunction with conventional quantity surveying services, to
provide a comprehensive construction and cost management
solution.
ChandlerKBS partner Phil Jones said: "Market research identified a
demand for specialist mechanical and electrical cost management.
The construction industry and utilities are showing encouraging
signs in Wales and we hope to capitalise on the sector's
performance improvement."
ChandlerM&E will be headed by Robert Pemberton (pictured, left,

with M&E projects both in the UK and overseas.
