Luton to spend œ24m on facilities
Luton Airport is planning a œ24 million redevelopment of its
facilities.
Works include a new check-in area and facilities, expanded retail
area, expanded departure lounge, new pier/walkway, conversion of
car park to apron, new additional car park, new baggage-handling
equipment, alterations to taxiways and alterations to roads.
Firms can express interest in a number of roles: project
management; construction management; architectural services; civil
engineering; structural engineering; M&E and plumbing
engineering services; and cost consultant. The project is aimed at
increasing passenger throughput to 5 million people a year.
Applications need to be with Schal International Management by 22
May 1997.
