Chicago Pneumatic is holding a balloon race on Wednesday 21 at
5.00pm. All proceeds will go to the Lighthouse Club.
The helium filled balloons - destined to add colour to SED's skyline - can be sponsored by individuals and companies for œ1.00 each.
The winner - whose prize is a magnum of champagne - will be the sponsor of the balloon whose ticket is returned from the furthest linear mileage from the launch site before 12 noon on 2nd June 1997.
A magnum of champagne will also be given to the winning balloon's finder. Money raised by the event will be presented by Chicago Pneumatic, in the form of a cheque, at the Lighthouse Club dinner on Wednesday night.
