Bristol Harbourside scheme comes down to final four
Four developers have been shortlisted for the Bristol Harbourside
regeneration programme. The shortlist comprises: British Land/Crest
Nicholson; Taylor Woodrow; London & Metropolitan/Berkeley
Group; and the Trevor Osborne Group.
The developers are being asked to submit proposals for the
redevelopment of a site to the north of the harbour. The proposals
are aimed at complementing the Millennium projects Science World,
Wildscreen World and the proposed Bristol Centre for Performing
Arts. The developers will present architectural and financial
submissions at the end of July.
The land around the harbourside is owned by Bristol City Council,
British Gas Properties and English Partnerships. The latter has
announced it will invest œ18 million in a phased
infrastructure programme for the site.
